About the Conference

This conference will gather mental healthcare professionals from across Canada. Delegates will discuss a diverse range of industry topics, including care capacity and accessibility, as well as prevention and novel new treatments.

This is a unique opportunity to build your knowledge to recognize and respond to mental health concerns in the public, and among your staff. As an integral part of the Canadian heath care system, you will leave with a renewed focus to meet the needs of people living with mental health illnesses.

Who Is This Conference For?

Administrators from mental health hospitals, pre-hospital emergency services, home and community care, long-term care, public health, government, and other organizations that have an interest in responding to mental health issues in Canada.

This conference will also be relevant to HR professionals from any healthcare organization, particularly as we will address healthcare workforce burnout and mental health in the workplace.

Discussions on Current Industry Topics

The goal of the conference is the dissemination of innovative programs, tools and treatments through peer-to-peer knowledge exchange. Some of the topics for discussion this year include: mental health in the workplace; the state of youth mental health; addressing the stigma of mental health; psychedelics for treating mental health; workforce burnout; health equity and mental health; MAiD; decriminalization of drugs; mental health in the long term care population. Delegates will leave with practical guidance for how team managers, educators, community leaders advocates, and business leaders can address mental health issues in their communities
