The 4th Annual Canada\u2019s Mental Health Leadership Forum<\/strong> took place on February 5-6, 2026. Mental health leaders from across Canada gathered in Toronto and virtually, with a strong national turnout of healthcare executives, hospital leaders, policymakers, community organizations, and system innovators.<\/p>\n

The two-day hybrid conference delivered practical insights, candid discussions, and meaningful peer exchange. Attendees focused on one shared goal of improving how Canada delivers mental health care centered on leadership, system coordination, workforce sustainability, and responsible innovation.<\/p>\n

    Workforce pressures remain one of the most urgent challenges in mental health care. Leaders addressed recruitment constraints, burnout, retention strategies, and the need for stronger workplace supports.<\/p>\n

    Digital tools and innovation were also examined in practical terms. From electronic health records to virtual care and AI-supported documentation tools, technology is playing a growing role in improving access and efficiency.<\/p>\n

    However, speakers stressed that implementation must be deliberate. Technology should improve workflows, reduce administrative burden, and support clinicians.<\/p>\n
