The Defensive CEO

Building an Auditable AI Governance Blueprint

Wednesday, November 18th, 2026 @ 12:30PM ET | Live Webinar

Presented by Spark Conferences

Artificial Intelligence is no longer just a line item on your IT budget; it is a critical driver of fiduciary liability, corporate valuation, and regulatory risk. With Canada’s shift to a highly active, distributed regulatory model under existing privacy, human rights, and consumer protection laws, corporate leaders cannot afford to treat AI as a technical problem. It is a boardroom mandate.

Join us for an executive-level briefing tailored specifically for CEOs, C-suite leaders, and their teams.
Get the exact roadmap to build a high-performing, cross-functional AI governance committee that bridges the gap between technical innovators and legal guardians. Using healthcare – the ultimate high-stakes, zero-error stress test – as a blueprint; this webinar will demystify the technical jargon and provide a practical corporate shield. Discover how to safely champion AI innovation within your organization while fiercely protecting your proprietary data, maintaining commercial insurability, and shielding your board from systemic liability.

Key Session takeaways include:

  • Discover how to establish enforceable internal usage policies and structure third-party vendor contracts so proprietary corporate data is never exposed or used to train public AI models
  • Learn how a clear, auditable AI framework is now directly tied to maintaining commercial insurance capacity, safeguarding M&A valuations, and avoiding regulatory penalties
  • Understand how provincial and federal enforcement bodies are actively policing algorithmic bias, automated recruitment, and privacy compliance today and what a successor bill to AIDA will mean for your business

Join us Wednesday, November 18th, 2026, from 12:30PM to 01:30PM ET.
